These committees are designed to advance the mission of NOTA, strengthen professional development, and create a thriving community of practitioners and students. What Committees are Available?
- Advocacy: Amplify the voice of OT by increasing public awareness, advocating for policy changes, and driving initiatives like Medicaid reimbursement updates and expanded telehealth opportunities.
- Advancement & Innovation: This committee fosters a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making to support forward-thinking initiatives.
- Education & Conference: Support ongoing learning through the annual conference, workshops, and innovative professional development programs for practitioners and students.
- Membership: Strengthen the OT community by growing membership, fostering collaboration between OTs and OTAs, and creating meaningful networking opportunities.
- Marketing: Enhance NOTA’s brand presence, improve website usability, and develop resources for practitioners and students across Nevada.
- Communications: Improve member engagement with consistent updates, unique events like a journal club, and opportunities to connect across the profession.
- Leadership: Build a pipeline of future leaders in OT through training programs, mentorship opportunities, and recognition of outstanding contributions.
