Audience: Licensed occupational therapy practitioners (OTs and COTAs)
Research subject: The goal of this study is to explore how occupation-based interventions are culturally adapted to support community-dwelling elders of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Brief introduction & description: My name is Kayla Blount, I am a graduate student obtaining my Master of Occupational Therapy degree at Salem State University. I am conducting an exploratory, survey-based research study to Increase knowledge and generate conversations about culturally adapted occupation-based activities being implemented in a variety of geriatric OT community-based practice settings. The survey is anonymous and may take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Community based practice in the context of my research study is defined as : Outpatient, SNF, LTACH, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Home Care, Community care, Day Programs
