2026 Interprofessional Conference – Speaker FAQ’s

Welcome, and thank you for being a part of Connected Care: Collaborate to ELEVATE Nevada Therapy!

 

Below you’ll find everything you need to prepare for a smooth and successful presentation experience. If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

 

Important Dates and Times

Conference Check-In Check-in will open at 7:00 AM on June 6, 2026, in the lobby of MEET Las Vegas.

Breakfast and Coffee Breakfast and coffee will be available starting at 7:00 AM in the Main Showroom on the first floor of MEET Las Vegas.


Presentation Guidelines

Session Length

  • Educational sessions: 50 minutes (includes presentation and Q&A)
  • Workshops: 90 minutes (includes workshop and Q&A)

Please be respectful of your assigned time slot to ensure all presenters have adequate time to share their content. A volunteer will be present to assist with timekeeping and may politely signal or intervene if needed to keep the session on schedule.

Arrival: Please arrive at your designated presentation space 10 minutes before your session start time to set up.

Staying On Topic: Be sure that your presentation covers what your abstract describes and that all stated learning objectives are addressed.


PowerPoint and Slide Guidelines

We want every audience member to fully engage with your content. To help, please consider the following:

  • Feel free to use your own template
  • Include an introduction slide, or plan to introduce yourself at the start of your presentation
  • Use font size 36 or larger on your slides for readability
  • Make your presentation accessible by using high-contrast font and background colors, descriptive visuals, and enabled closed captioning where possible

Poster Sessions

Poster sessions will be held:

  • Friday, June 6, 2026: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
  • Saturday, June 7, 2026: 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Please plan to be by your poster during these times to engage with attendees.

Poster Specifications:

  • Maximum size: 36″ x 48″
  • Orientation: Portrait or landscape — your choice
  • Posters must have a hard backing

Presentation Handouts

If you would like your audience to have access to your presentation slides or handouts, please email them to:

Materials submitted prior to the conference will be shared with attendees. If you are unable to submit your materials ahead of time, consider providing your audience with a QR code or web link to your presentation or handouts during your session.

Handouts received in advance can also be made available to attendees after the conference upon request.


Technology and A/V

What’s Provided in Each Presentation Space:

  • Projector and screen
  • Microphone
  • WiFi access will be provided

What You Should Bring:

  • Your own laptop with HDMI connectivity
  • Any adapters you may need for your specific laptop (we will have some backup adapters available)
  • A presentation clicker, if preferred, for advancing your slides

A/V Support Room monitors and an A/V technician will be available to troubleshoot as needed.

Always Have a Backup Plan Technology can be unpredictable! We recommend having a backup ready, such as:

  • A USB drive with your presentation
  • An email-accessible copy of your slides
  • Printed materials if applicable
